It's hard to find a decent horror movie these days. Either the plot sucks, graphics suck, or the general existence of the movie is just a blatant cliche. Whatever the reason, there are few movies that really get to me and get me thinking. I seem to not be drawn to overly-gory movies as much as I am to psychological, make-you-paranoid movies. Don't get me wrong, I love a good flesh-ripping, but I prefer a more graceful approach against something you may see in the Saw series. To save some pain, I'm going to give you 2 movies you must watch, and 2 movies you are doing yourself a favor by avoiding. Also, a personal rating will be provided, but of course opinions vary. (1-10), this is a 'Dope or Nope scale. anything 6 and above is Dope, 5 and below is a big fat NOPE! *SPOILER ALERT*
1. The Exorcism of Emily Rose (7) -DOPE-
Based on a true story (usually my favorite kind), this movie tells the tale of the possession of Analise Michelle. It is told from multiple points of view, including that of Emily Rose. We see her gradual deterioration as the Legion quickly overwrites her previous self. We also get to experience things from the priest who exorcised Emily and witnessed her death. The whole movie always resorts back to present-day, in a court room where the priest is being tried for the death of the collegiate, while he continues to stand by his belief that it was the devil himself that caused her heart to fail..or what was left of it.
2. Necromentia (8) -DOPE-
A little bit of gore, a little bit of hallucinogenics, a couple of Satan's minions here and there and you get the masterpiece that is Necromentia. The awesome hybrid of awesomeness consists of an off-world look at the superstitious repercussions of tattooing an
Ouija Board on your body. Hagen, who has a dead wife believes that he
can revive her from the dead, Travis, a man who lost his brother and
wants to join him in the after life and Morbius, a bartender who is
betrayed by those he loves, comes back from the dead to take revenge. A handicapped boy is often left home alone and he constantly watches his tv when
a strange man only known as Mr. Skinny appears every time. Hallucination or reality? He protects the secrets of the
Ouija Board and how the stories weave and affect each other. Once the boy started to become aware of the use of the road map of the underworld being carved into people's backs, Mr. Skinny, once a delusion, took control and hung the teen by his own intestines. The boy, unable to speak or fight back, died just as his junkie brother returned from having a run-in with one of the demons drawn to him by his newfound markings. Mr. Skinny, of course, was no longer present. This movie definitely gets you thinking and makes you wonder: We are never safe from our nightmares, we are what we create, and our creations are a reflection of the evil we all possess, and the evil that possesses us.
3. When a Stranger Calls (4) -NOPE!-
Prank calling was so 1979 (the year of the much creepier original);
besides, with caller ID now how can anyone be afraid? Try getting out of
a service contract with T-Mobile..now that's really scary. But not
this remake about a serial killer who uses a flip phone to harass a
babysitter played by Camila Belle. What's next? 'When a Stranger Texts'?
4.Killer Clowns From Outer Space (2) (partly because I hate clowns.. -NONONO!-
Well, the title kind of make sme want to stop writing this..it's so painfully lame it's..well, painful. Pie-tossing killers arrive in a
circus tent spaceship and capture earthlings in cotton candy cocoons
that turn them into Jell-o. Yep, that's about it. It was shot in Santa
Cruz, Ca., for allegedly 2 million bucks and stars John "Dean Wormer"
Vernon from 'Animal House.' A "zero point zero" for these clowns. Not only did "It" suck horribly, but this is a new level of gross. The term "embrace the suck" applies in no way to this movie. I already want to flail into the sun just writing about this movie. I have to go before I break something.
Everything from every aspect of my life and the media in the world that surrounds me.

Great Cardio Routine For Fast Calorie Burn
Start with a 5 minute warm up of a brisk walk at 4.5 on a 2 or 3
incline. Then put the speed at 6.5 and the incline at 2 for 2
minutes. Then bring the speed down to 4.5 and set the incline up to
4 or 5 for 2 minutes. Repeat this until you hit 30-45 minutes. After this staggered cardio routine, your heart is racing and is in fat-burning mode. While in this state, you will be able to lift weights with more ease than before, but take it easy until you feel you can do more without pain (listen to your body!). Most people make the mistake of stopping to rest as soon as they get tired. When you feel a little weak, keep pushing forward and drink lots of water while doing so. After you reach the 30-45 minute mark, take a 10-15 minute water/cool-off break. When you feel rejuvenated, get up and lift some weights, do crunches, or yoga to finish it all off peacefully. After your workout, you can go out to eat or have a good meal because your body is still burning calories. With this, anything you eat, your metabolism will eat too. Fat buildup from this meal will be lessened or blocked. Do your routine at least 3 days a week until you build up the endurance to do more. Just keep in mind that you should stop for a rest as soon as you begin to feel light headed or like you may collapse. Exercise is good but death sucks..So be careful!

5 Warning Signs Your Man Isn't Happy
If you see these signs, you might want to start running, because he's already planning his dash.
1. Disassociation
When a guy is feeling bored or uninterested, one of the first things he'll do is block you out. He'll stop texting or calling as much, if not stop all together, and his texts will either be drastically or gradually shortened. For example, his texts could take a downturn from "No baby nothing's wrong I promise everything's okay honey I swear." all the way to "No. I'm fine." and "oh. sorry." For one thing, men NEVER use periods. When a period is put at the end of a suddenly short text, you know it just got real. Whether it be on your end, or his.
2. No Mo Hugs
If your man just follows you into the house without a hug or a kiss, his mind is on business, not you or his interest in you. Little gestures like these are vital in a woman's love life and if they are absent, we can feel used, unappreciated, and obviously, a push factor to our boys. If your guy no longer does these little gestures to ensue his interest in you, he's either saving them for someone else or simply no longer finds you worthy of them. Keep your eyes peeled ladies.
3. Frequent Bickering
From simple disagreements to full on tooth and nail battles (not literally speaking, but if it is literal in your relationship, call 1−800−799−SAFE(7233) or 911). Small tiffs indicate an annoyance he has with you or even you with him. Sometimes if not always, it comes from both directions. Not only are these little arguments a warning sign, but fights that end in not speaking, sleeping separately, or even one of you storming out and away. This is one of the many signs of danger that more often than not leads to a breakup/divorce.
4.Truth Telling
Obviously, honesty is one of the most important things in a relationship. But if your boyfriend/husband starts suddenly being blatant and hurtful in opinions on something you're wearing or the way your hair looks, it's just an easy way for him to insult you. He could either no longer care about preserving your feelings, or is making it a point to destroy them.
5. Avoidance
Not to be confused with number 1, avoidance arises when your man no longer feels the emotional connection with you to share anything going on in his life. Once this connection is gone, it can be very difficult but more often impossible to maintain or revitalize your physical connection at all.

I'm Back!
Top of the mornin' to you! I had a rather busy blog before, but deleted it due to personal reasons. Although I suppose nothing in a committed blogger's world is personal. This pass time has been gnawing at me to pick it back up but I have just not been particularly "available". Many things have occurred since I last informed the world of my status, but that's what individual posts are for. I feel like an Egyptian corpse rising from the sand into the sweltering sun as a new and reborn goddess ready to dictate her new-found kingdom and superiority. Okay, maybe not that dramatic of a return, but you get my point.
